The EBA/NYS has started
an Albany Chapter of Green Drinks International (www.greendrinks.org). The
next meeting of this group will take place on Tuesday, April
13, 2004. Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month
around 6:00pm for fun, networking, information, inspiration and gossip.
This is an informal monthly gathering at a local pub to give people in Albany
and the surrounding area a chance to meet other people in the area and find out
about what’s going on in and around the town. It’s a way of helping people to
get more involved in their local community and to get to know other people
within it. And of course to have fun! It’s not a stuffy meeting, a lecture or
an exhibition but simply a gathering of fun people for a few drinks (or not).
We hope to attract a variety of professionals who work in green architecture,
alternative energy, sustainability, brownfields, eco-materials, alternative
fuel vehicles, energy, international commerce, pollution prevention and
recycling, technology, law, non-profits, for-profits, etc.
