Michael L’Ecuyer,
Conservation Services Group
Mike L'Ecuyer of CSG will provide
a briefing on key updates to the NY Small Homes program design and on the
staffing: key changes are taking place and new positions are being filled
in response to growth in the programs and to improve productivity and
support. Mike will also give a briefing on proposed future changes
for the Home Performance with Energy Star program and lead a discussion on
those changes in order to get your feedback. And, of course, you are
invited to bring along any other comments on either of the Small Homes
programs, your experiences as a participant, and any suggestions for improvement
that you might have to offer.
The Building
Performance Contractors Association of New York State, Inc. (BPCA/NYS) invites
you to attend our regional forum. Anyone interested in Building Performance, Home
Energy Ratings, Solar Electric Systems, HVAC, Air-Sealing and Insulation,
Healthy Homes and Indoor Air Quality, or any combination of these, should
attend this meeting. If you can't attend this meeting, BPCA/NYS will continue
to hold monthly meetings around the state and will be in your area soon.
New York State
offers several market-based initiatives that are designed to help contractors
to become more profitable in providing new and ever-evolving energy efficiency
and building performance services to the residential marketplace. BPCA/NYS will
assist you in learning more about these existing programs, as well as other
upcoming programs and business opportunities. These meetings are also designed
to give you a forum to offer ideas and to present feedback to NYSERDA and the
program implementers of the Home Performance with Energy Star and the Energy
Star Labeled Homes programs.
BPCA/NYS is also
here to help you to get answers to any questions on your own projects, existing
and upcoming NYS programs and other business opportunities. We want to assist
you in training for new and better business practices, sourcing for new tools,
building and energy efficiency practices and any other needs that may affect
you, as a tradesperson in the building performance contracting industry.
