A discussion of how a state-of-the-art building automation system can be utilized to optimize a building’s performance, maintain quality environments, and serve as a tool for continuous commissioning.  Johnson Control’s LEED-certified Brengel Technology Center will be referenced as a case study.

Speaker Bio

Gerard Marciano, PE, CEM, CEP is responsible for sales volume, market-share, and gross profits, participating in the development and execution of the sales and marketing plan at Johnson Controls.  His duties include: planning, developing and executing sales strategies.  Gerard assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a self-sufficient, professional, and creative sales organization; maintaining a high level of competence -- sales and technical --in the present sales force; training sales personnel in the effective writing of commercial specification and enhancement of relations with clients; assisting sales personnel in developing and executing professional sales presentations; providing leadership through personal successful salesmanship and growth;   organizing and coordinating participation in sales meetings, college interviews, trade shows, and demonstrations.

 

Harold T. Witschi has been assisting clients since 1966 with the creation of Quality Building Environments that are healthy, comfortable, productive, secure and cost effective.  He holds an Associates of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and has been involved in various technical training programs throughout his more than 30 years in the building energy management industry. He has held various positions from Application Engineer -- designing building systems to Area Sales Manager responsible for regional sales personnel and  client solutions.
